How does solar power work?
When it darkens, the sensor will automatically turn on the light. After 6-8 hours, the lights automatically stop burning. The next day, the batteries will recharge in daylight. LED lights will stay on a sunny, bright day longer than on a dark, cloudy day.
Note: When using the light for the first time, please charge it for 6 hours in direct sunlight after turning the 'ON/OFF' switch to the 'ON' position. This will benefit the battery's life span and ensure the light's proper functioning.
How long does the light last?
Our solar-powered products produce 6 hours of light at 580 lumens, or up to 12 hours when dimmed to 100 lumens and placed on energy-saving motion sensor mode.
What is the light temperature?
Our lighting products offer a full range of color temperatures, spanning from 2000K to 6500K.
How does bianova solar light work?
The solar module features an ETFE solar panel that powers two large batteries. Once the batteries are charged via the sun or USB-C port, the power travels through electronic circuits and processors, activating the LED light. The Solar Module also has two different setting capabilities.
The first is the built-in PIR motion sensor, which triggers a brighter setting for the pathway light when a person passes and then returns to its energy-saving Eco mode once they have passed.
The second forces the module to light, so long as the batteries allow it.
The solar module also features a custom mode, allowing you to decide whether the PIR motion sensor is on or off, select the desired color temperature between 2700K and 6500K, and adjust the brightness intensity.
How long does it take to recharge the module?
Depending on your location and the season, it can take 7 hours of sun exposure and a few days to recharge your solar module.
Remember that if your lamp is primarily kept outside during the day, it never stops charging while the sun is out!
How do I change the settings on my lamp?
A single button on the solar module lamp is all you need to configure the various settings and select the three light modes. The light from the solar lamp helps you confirm the multiple settings and the status in each mode.
MODE 1: Press the button once. The lamp will automatically switch on in Mode 1. In this mode, the light will turn on and remain on for 30 seconds at 550 lumens when the PIR sensor is triggered; after that, it will continue at 50 lumens until sunrise.
MODE 2: To go to Mode 2, press the button again. The lamp will blink twice in Mode 2. In this mode, the light will stay on 100lm-210lm according to the battery's balance until sunrise.
Mode 3: To go to Mode 3, press the button again. The lamp will blink three times, confirming that you are in Mode 3 and ready to customize all the functions of the solar light module.
To start setting up Mode 3, please, download the User's manual of the Solar Module in the “support” page.
How do I check the remaining battery energy?
When the solar module lamp is in Mode 1, 2, or 3, press the button three times quickly.
When the lamp blinks four times, the battery capacity is between 75% and 100%.
Three blinks mean the battery capacity is between 50% and 75%.
Two blinks mean the battery capacity is between 25% and 50%.
And one blink means the battery capacity is less than 25%.
How do I reset to the factory default settings?
If you want to reset to the factory default settings, press the button 5 times quickly. The lighting blinks alternately between warm and cool light 4 times.
Please note that the factory default settings of Mode 3 refer to the PIR function being enabled, with a color temperature of 2000K and 100% brightness.
First time to use?
First, charge the product under sunlight for 6 hours or use the lamp with a USB-C cable for 2 hours.
When charging with a USB-C port, the indicator light turns red to indicate it is charging.
The indicator light turns off when the battery is fully charged, and the lamp blinks every 10 seconds.
